The Wave Crest Resort use year is divided into two seasons:
Turf Season is mid-July through mid-September. The eight weeks during Turf Season are fixed. Owners of Turf weeks automatically have reservations for the same unit and week each year. Turf Season generally coincides with the Del Mar Thoroughbred racing schedule; however, it is not a guarantee.
Surf Season is mid-September through mid-July. Surf Season is considered floating. Owners of Surf Season weeks must make individual reservations for each week owned every year by participating in a random, lottery-style reservation process which is conducted each January. Please see Surf Season Reservation process below for more information.
Surf Season Reservations
Requests for 2024/2025 reservations are now being accepted. Reservations will be processed by a random lottery for all surf season units beginning at 8:00am PST on Thursday, January 18, 2024 for all priority (RED) week holders. Non-priority (BLUE) will begin after the priority units are completed. Reservation confirmations will be emailed once the lottery is complete.
If you do not receive your reservation by February 16, 2024, please call the GPVS Contact Center at (888) 477-6967.
Following are a few important tips to consider when submitting your reservation request(s):
Complete the worksheet online, mail it back to Grand Pacific Vacation Services, or submit via fax as soon as possible. It is very easy to set the reservation materials aside and forget about it during the busy holiday season. Please DO NOT wait until Reservation Day to submit your request! Requests received after 5:00 p.m. the day before Reservation Day are considered late and will be handled at the end of the process, so please be sure to send them to Grand Pacific Vacation Services prior to January 11, 2024, to ensure inclusion on Reservation Day.
