Grand Pacific Resorts has a long tradition of social responsibility, beginning with our support of Christel House and community-based causes in the 1990s. We continue to expand and integrate our giving back efforts, which are now under the leadership of Lisa Wanzenried, RRP, vice president of business and market strategy.

Lisa’s passion for social responsibility was inspired by her tenure as president of Send Me On Vacation, a charity that provides vacations to cancer survivors. Making an impact in the lives of families in need inspired Lisa’s passion for corporate citizenship.

Resort Trades is providing Grand Pacific Resorts with a platform to share best practices in hopes to inspire the next wave of social responsibility. Throughout the series of articles, Lisa explores how resorts of any size can create a program to make a difference.
