Our Teams are always finding new ways to BE EPIC in all they do. Every day across our resorts, Associates perform outstanding acts of service for Owners, Guests, and their fellow Team Members. Each month, we choose a BE EPIC Moment to recognize and celebrate one of our Associates.
In late February, an Owner at Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort fell and cut her leg while walking on the sidewalk. After an ambulance and paramedics assessed the Owner, it was determined she would be ok to return to her room. Charlie quickly jumped into action and helped this Owner return to her room safely. The Owner was extremely grateful for Charlie’s care and said that he “went above and beyond” his job to help her.
Later in the week, Charlie checked in on the Owner to ask how she was doing after the fall and to see if she needed anything. Charlie’s lead by example approach to customer service and kind caring nature make him an exemplary Associate and incredibly valued member of our team.
