At Grand Pacific Resorts, we often say that hospitality begins at home. That philosophy extends far beyond welcoming Owners and Guests—it’s about how we care for our own team. Behind every unforgettable vacation experience is a community of dedicated Associates who bring our resorts to life. Their energy, compassion, and commitment shape everything we do.

That’s why we’re proud to nurture a workplace culture where mental health matters—every day of the year.

GPR commitment to associate well-being

A Culture Where People Come First

We believe that a strong community starts with connection and care. Whether it’s offering a kind word, stepping in to help a teammate, or encouraging time for rest and reflection, we strive to make our workplace a space where people feel supported—mind, body, and spirit.

“The well-being of our Associates is of the utmost importance to us,” shares Nigel Lobo, Chief Operating Officer. “They are the heart of Grand Pacific Resorts. When we invest in their well-being, we’re investing in the strength of our entire community.”

Support That is Always Within Reach

Through our partnership with Care Solace, we’ve made it easier than ever for Associates and their immediate family members to find help when they need it most. Care Solace connects individuals to 24/7 mental health care options, whether or not they have insurance.

The process is confidential, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. It’s just one of the ways we’re making sure no one at Grand Pacific Resorts ever feels alone on their wellness journey.

Learning to Care for Ourselves and Each Other

Creating a healthy workplace starts with understanding—and we’re proud to offer a variety of courses and challenges that encourage Associates to reflect, grow, and care for one another.

“These mental health courses reflect our BE EPIC values in action,” says Elaine Plasse, Learning and Development Manager. “They remind us to pause, care for ourselves, and support each other. By doing so, we’re not just building a healthy workplace—we’re strengthening the compassionate culture that makes GPR a truly special place to work.”

Together, We’re Stronger

At Grand Pacific Resorts, mental wellness isn’t a trend—it’s a value that guides how we treat each other, how we lead, and how we grow. We’re proud to be building a community where it’s okay to ask for help, where learning and healing are encouraged, and where each person feels truly seen.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re shining a light on the importance of care—not just for our Owners and Guests, but for the people who make everything possible. Because at Grand Pacific Resorts, we’re more than a team—we’re a family.
