Hello Carlsbad Seapointe Resort Owner!
 Renovation Update
The unit renovation hit another milestone on April 9, when the final 23 units in Buildings 5 and 6 reopened for occupancy. All 95 units are now renovated and they look amazing! The quality of the workmanship has improved with each Phase. While we continue to return to each Phase to complete any remaining “Punch list” items, the units are looking better than ever.
Lobby Update
Phase I of the Lobby Remodel began on April 10. This Phase is the largest and began with the demolition of the entire main section of the Lobby and back offices. The finished product will include all new flooring, ceilings, lighting, entry doors, furniture and wall coverings.  The design relocates the Front Desk to the south side of the Lobby, which will consist of three standalone Front Desk pods. The plan contains new seating areas and features a communal table with a big screen HD television. The star attraction is the extension of the back deck and the addition of three fire pits, lush resort landscaping and new seating areas. All is scheduled for completion this summer.
The second Phase of the Lobby Renovation will happen immediately after and include renovation of the back deck, new fire pits, new flooring in the Fitness Center and a new Fun Zone, as well as renovation of the Restrooms and Locker Rooms.
Clubhouse Improvements
A number of improvements have also been completed in the Clubhouse. All of the aging glass in the building has been replaced, as well as the addition of new blinds. Upgrades are also being made to the audio system, keeping the Seapointe Clubhouse one of the best event venues in Carlsbad.
Annual Owner’s Meeting
This year’s Annual Owners' Meeting will be held on June 10 in the Seapointe Clubhouse. Please note: the order of events has changed this year. The Annual Meeting and election of your Board of Directors will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a catered lunch, Owner Expo and entertainment by the Adult Pool at noon.
Wi-Fi Upgrades
Excellent Wi-Fi internet service has become an expected feature at resorts, and Seapointe’s was in need of an update. Incoming bandwidth has been dramatically increased – it is now 20 times faster. An entire new system is also being installed resort- wide using rooftop antennas - creating a dynamic process that allows our Owners and Guests to remain connected as they travel throughout the property.
