Hello Carlsbad Seapointe Resort Owner!
 Unit Renovation Update
Unit renovation work is in full swing at Seapointe. Building 2 with 18 units was completed for occupancy on November 27th. Building 3 followed with completion on December 4th. Also on November 20th, work commenced in Building 4 with eighteen units and will be ready for occupancy on February 5th. On January 21st, the fifth and final phase, which includes Buildings 5 & 6, commenced.
 We look forward to wrapping up the unit portion of the renovation in mid-April. The new LVT flooring looks great. We have also added a glass top to the dining room tables to protect the finish.
Lobby Renovation
PD&A completed the design of the new lobby in November and NOAA, our architect, and RBC Engineering, our electrical planner, created working drawings and electrical schematics for inclusion in our permit submittal to the City of Carlsbad. We hope to have permits and commence construction by late February / early March. I think you will love the new layout and design.
Ice Machine
Seapointe finally has its first common area ice machine! A storage room in Building 1 between Units 105 and 106 has been converted to house the brand new ice machine. We also plan to add some additional vending machines. In addition, a floor drain is being installed and needed electrical is being done to add another ice machine in Building 3. The second ice machine should be operational by Spring Break.
 New Director of Fun and Engagement
We would like to welcome Dexter Carranza who joined Seapointe to lead our Activities Department! Although he was born in Guam, he has lived in a suburb of San Diego his whole life. He attended school at CSU Northridge and graduated with a B.S Degree in Kinesiology. Dexter comes from the Senior Living Industry where he enjoyed leading the Activities Program at various senior living communities. He is family oriented and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Dexter has a passion for the hospitality industry and genuinely enjoys interacting with people. On his days off you can find him eating pizza! He is very excited to be a part of the Seapointe Team and is looking forward to creating a great activities program that will continue to create wonderful experiences for all.
