 Please allow me to introduce myself…I am Felix Madrigal, the new General Manager at the beautiful Carlsbad Seapointe Resort. I am very excited to be here and joining Team Seapointe. By way of background, I have nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry; most recently with DoubleTree by Hilton and before that with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. I currently reside in Chula Vista with my wife Reyna. We have two beautiful children; Marla 16 years old and Emilio, 12 years old. My family and I call San Diego home. This is where I went to school, from Middle school to College. I attended San Diego State University and earned a Teaching Degree in Social Science, as I enjoy personal interactions. I am truly excited about our resort and looking forward to a synergistic relationship.
Welcome Back Andrea!
We are very happy to have Andrea Daou back from her assignment at Grand Pacific Palisades and to bring her talent to our resort. Andrea is re-joining our team as our new Front Office Manager. We are already seeing the impact that her positive, upbeat and can-do attitude is having on the team.
Renovation News
 We are excited to have started the first phase of the renovation, which began on April 10th, in all eighteen units in Building One. This first phase should be completed by Memorial Day Weekend. After the busy weekend, all guests and owners will be able to visit a model unit and offer feedback on the upgrades that have been done in the units.  Activities Update
After a brief hiatus, we are excited to have the Water Aerobics back, which returned as of Tuesday, April 5th. A longtime staple of Seapointe’s Activity offerings, our owners and guests are thrilled to see the return of this program to the resort.
Be Epic Champion - First Quarter
We are happy to announce that Oscar Mendez is our Be Epic Champion of the Quarter. Oscar has been with us since May 2015. During this time, he has done a terrific job in our Housekeeping Department, tending to the needs of all our Owners and Guests. Oscar is a hard worker, who is well respected by his peers and supervisors. During his free time Oscar enjoys spending time with his family. He also coaches his son’s soccer team. Congratulations Oscar!
