How do I deposit my week with Interval International?
In order to relinquish a specific week to Interval International for exchange purposes, you must first contact Villa L'Auberge to make a reservation.

When can I use my week after it has been deposited?
You can travel against a deposited week either one year prior to the start date of that week or two years after.

Do I have to deposit my week first in order to request and exchange?
No. With Interval International, you can retain your use week at your home resort until your exchange has been confirmed.

How to use Interval International

Deposit First

Deposit First offers you the flexibility of a three-year travel window.

• Travel on your exchange from one year before to two years after your week.
• You give Interval the immediate right to use your resort week to fulfill another member's request.

Request First

Request First gives you the security of retaining your week until you receive a confirmation.

• Travel on your exchange from one year before, through the dates of your resort week, but not after.
• You retain the use of your resort week until your exchange has been confirmed.

FlexChange: Short Notice Travel

Use Flexchange when you place a request less than 60 days before your travel date, or you deposit your week 50 to 14 days before your own resort week starts.

• From 59 days to 24 hours before your desired travel date, call to hear what FlexChange opportunities are available and select the destination that suits you.
• Up until 14 days before your desired travel date, we can also place your name on our FlexChange waiting list and call you if the area and/or resort you want becomes available.

Compile details about the exchange you are requesting

Select a minimum of three different resorts and at least one travel date, or one resort and three travel dates. When you call the exchange department, your request will be confirmed immediately if one of your selections is available. Every exchange confirmation is issued on the basis of Interval's comparable exchange concept.

If a destination you desire is not available when you call, place a formal request and we'll do the rest. There's no need to call the exchange department again. As new resort weeks enter the exchange system, they are compared to and matched with requests that have been submitted. Members who have a request pending in the exchange system will be confirmed before members who are making a new request for similar space.

Another way to increase your exchange opportunities is to place your exchange request as far as possible in advance of the dates you want to travel.
